STEPHEN J. KRAMER ARCHITECTURE + DESIGN FIRM PROFILE

Stephen J. Kramer Architecture + Design, Inc. is a full service architectural firm established in April of 1988 by Stephen J. Kramer, A.I.A. Our principal office is in San Antonio, Texas. Staff currently consists of a licensed architect, a senior project manager, a project manager, three architectural staff and our office manager. We also employ temporary drafting staff as our workload requires. 

In the years since its formation our firm has completed and developed expertise in a variety of project types, including commercial offices, restaurants, corporate headquarters, veterinary clinics, medical and dental facilities, retail stores, industrial office space, and custom homes. We have completed hundreds of projects in San Antonio and the surrounding area as well as in other Texas cities including Corpus Christi, Del Rio, Dallas, Houston, Laredo, Marble Falls, New Braunfels, Temple and Tyler in addition to projects in New Mexico, Oklahoma, Illinois and Arizona. 

At Stephen J. Kramer Architecture + Design, we provide comprehensive architectural services including project programming, architectural design, construction document preparation and project administration, as well as documentation of existing facilities, space planning, CADD drafting services, accessibility compliance, color and material selection, model building and rendering. In addition to in-house staff, we work with engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, general contractors, code specialists, and other consultants in order to provide comprehensive services throughout the design process. We strive to use all available technologies in the office environment and in the area of building design and construction in order to keep our jobs and our practice running smoothly and efficiently.   

Our goal at Stephen J. Kramer Architecture + Design, Inc. is to provide quality, service and value. We provide high quality design, by listening to the needs of our clients and responding based on our experience and expertise with what we know to be the best possible solution within the given set of parameters. Communication is a key focus of our practice and we make sure that our clients are always kept up to date on all project information.  

Personal service and responsiveness is also critical to our continued growth and success. Our clients can always deal directly with the principal of the firm and will receive personal attention and quick response from all members of our staff. Because of this approach, projects are completed on time and within the established budget.  

We keep our fees competitive and work to give our clients maximum value for their dollar. To do this, we first establish the scope of services that the client requires, and second, closely monitor the progress of the design and time spent on each phase of a project.  

We see every project as a new challenge. It is our hope that we can impart creativity, function and value into each new design while forming ongoing working relationships with our clients.
