Marvin James is the Chief Estimator at Construct Bid Estimation and has over 30 years of experience in the commercial, multi-family, and residential construction industries. One of the things that set him apart from other professional estimators is Mr. Marvin's extensive field experience. Prior to transitioning to estimating and pre-construction services, Mr. Marvin spent a number of years as a commercial carpenter before he began running work in the field as an Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent, and then a Project Manager. This time in the field is key to the success that Mr. Marvin has experienced in his career.

Prior to starting Construct Bid Estimation.com, Mr. Marvin spent most of his corporate career as the Vice President of Purchasing for a top ten national homebuilder and developer in the New Jersey area. In addition, he previously served as the Vice President of Pre-Construction Services for a mid-sized general contractor.
